Description

You will co-create and evolve the target data, analytics, and AI architecture for a large energy group and support its transformation programs. The role coordinates across business, IT, cybersecurity, data management, and solution providers, and provides architectural oversight for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, MDM, Data Catalog, and AI initiatives (Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI). You will also standardize enabling technologies and help implement Data Governance and AI Governance.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and develop the target data, analytics, and AI architecture
• Support the analytics and AI transformation program with concepts, analyses, and architectural recommendations
• Coordinate across business, IT, cybersecurity, data management, and vendors
• Architectural oversight for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, MDM, Data Catalog, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI projects
• Assess, select, and standardize technologies for analytics and AI capability development
• Identify dependencies between business processes, data, analytical models, and AI solutions
• Prepare architectural opinions, feasibility analyses, development roadmaps, and recommendations for key initiatives
• Support Data & AI governance implementation, including Data Governance and AI Governance principles
• Collaborate with management and process owners on high-business-value initiatives
• Monitor technology trends and recommend data & AI architecture directions

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT solution architecture, data architecture, or AI
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering large transformation programs for data analytics, data platforms, or AI
• Practical experience implementing AI solutions in large organizations (preferably corporate environments)
• Very good knowledge of data platform architecture and analytics solutions
• Experience designing architecture for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Data Catalog
• Good knowledge of Machine Learning, GenAI, RAG, AI agents, and MLOps/LLMOps platforms
• Ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions
• Experience conducting architectural analyses, evaluating technologies, and providing recommendations for executives/steering committees
• Knowledge of data management topics, data quality, Data Governance, and AI Governance
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures (Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of system integration and data exchange (API, ESB, event streaming, ETL/ELT, MCP)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and regulatory requirements for data processing and AI
• Knowledge of architectural notations/tools (ArchiMate, UML, BPMN)
• English proficiency for smooth business and technical communication
• Strong analytical and systems thinking skills
• Ability to manage complex dependencies across business and technology areas
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and build consensus in a large organization
• Independence, responsibility, and decision-making in complex project environments
• Proactivity in initiating improvements supporting organizational development
