• Starting pay range: $16.90–$17.40 per hour

Description

Maintain a clean, organized store environment with an emphasis on floor care. Operate the scrubber and buffer and complete daily cleaning tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adhere to operational, merchandise, health & safety, and loss prevention standards, and participate in store recovery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain scrubber and buffer equipment to meet floor care cleanliness standards
• Perform sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, dust mopping, and damp mopping
• Spot clean glass and windows
• Maintain cleanliness and recovery standards across the store (sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, restrooms)
• Refill essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end
• Cross-train to support other store areas (backroom, front end, sales floor)
• Support front end coverage needs
• Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Adhere to operational and loss prevention controls to reduce shrink
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates
• Follow labor laws and meal/break policies
• Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor equipment
• Capable of multitasking
• Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and active listening
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

• Retail customer experience preferred
