Description

Deliver a customer-focused in-store experience by supporting sales floor merchandising, recovery, and a clean, organized store. Follow operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while accurately processing customer purchases/returns. Cross-training across multiple store areas may be required to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and provide an excellent customer experience

• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers

• Ring customer purchases/returns and handle change per operating procedures

• Count and verify change back to customers

• Promote credit and loyalty programs

• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following merchandising procedures

• Participate in store recovery and maintain sales floor organization and cleanliness

• Maintain overall store cleanliness/organizational standards

• Support recognition and accept constructive feedback

• Follow labor laws, store policies, and procedures

• Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs

• Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations

• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors

• Retail customer experience preferred
