Description

You will take technical responsibility for customer projects in civil aviation software, steering the implementation of requirements together with development and customers. You will actively shape architecture, design, and technical realization, lead interdisciplinary teams through all project phases, and act as the technical point of contact for customers. You will ensure projects are delivered reliably within budget and timeline, with strong customer orientation and high quality.

Responsibilities

• Own technical responsibility for client projects in civil aviation software

• Steer technical implementation of requirements with development, project management, and customers

• Contribute to architecture, design, and technical realization

• Lead interdisciplinary teams across all project phases

• Advise customers on optimal software usage; serve as technical point of contact

• Ensure delivery within budget and schedule, with customer orientation and high quality

Requirements

• Completed degree or technical training in IT, software development, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in technical delivery or management of software projects

• Solid knowledge of Linux, Windows, and version control systems

• Experience with object-oriented development, ideally C++ and Java

• Ability to work independently and structured with a pragmatic approach

• Team-oriented, customer-focused, and professional communication

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

• Occasional international travel (~2–3%)
