Description

Design and develop data models with an emphasis on the logical layer and defining relationships across business areas in a GCP environment. Analyze business requirements, support the reporting layer design, and build/maintain a data warehouse (lakehouse/BigQuery). Ensure metadata, documentation, and data quality while complying with GDPR/RODO standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models, including logical modeling and business-domain relationships

• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with teams building the reporting layer

• Design and develop data warehouse solutions on GCP

• Develop and maintain metadata and data model documentation

• Ensure data quality and adhere to documentation standards and GDPR/RODO requirements

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and evolve data models

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling, especially in data warehouses, lakehouse, or BigQuery

• Experience building data models using Data Vault 2.0, Kimball, or 3NF

• Knowledge of data modeling tools (Enterprise Architect is a plus)

• Familiarity with banking-sector requirements and regulations

• Ability to translate business requirements into data models

• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups

• Strong communication skills
