Description

Design and build scalable cloud-based analytics and data platforms, selecting the right technologies for each use case across on-prem and cloud environments. Architect platform solutions using hyperscaler analytics services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate on-prem Big Data into modern cloud analytics platforms, while actively supporting responsible AI use. You will also coordinate cloud engineering teams in close customer collaboration and create proposals focused on data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, scalable cloud-based platforms for data-driven solutions

• Work in close customer contact and coordinate Cloud-Engineering teams

• Conceive platform architectures using analytics services from hyperscalers and on-prem Big Data technologies

• Transform/integrate on-prem solutions into modern cloud analytics platforms

• Create offers/proposals focused on data architecture and appropriate technology selection

Requirements

• Strong passion for data and continuous development in analytics technologies

• Broad experience in Big Data (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Hive) and/or Cloud analytics services (AWS, GCP)

• Competence in setting up cloud infrastructures and building PaaS-based use cases

• Strong ability to choose and explain appropriate technologies for different data scenarios (sensor/master data, GB/PB, on-prem/cloud)

• Very good German and good English skills

• In-depth AI expertise with experience driving responsible AI usage
