• Role: Data & Analytics Architecture Lead (HD/BI)

Description

Design modern data and analytics systems for a hybrid environment by integrating Databricks in the cloud with an on-premises data warehouse based on Oracle and SAS. You will define architectural patterns and standards, support SDLC and DataOps-aligned delivery, and ensure architectural consistency across delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design modern data & analytics system architecture with domain and business architects

• Define architectural patterns and standards to enable implementations using current technology trends

• Integrate cloud environment (Databricks) with on-premises data warehouse (Oracle, SAS)

• Automate build and maintenance processes using CI/CD, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio Code

• Provide internal technology consulting for Data & Analytics

• Ensure coherence and synergy of the delivered architectures

Requirements

• Ability to define architectural standards and mentor HD/BI teams

• Experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premises + cloud)

• Knowledge of data modeling and data flow design

• Experience defining and implementing SDLC processes for Data & Analytics solutions

• Experience automating HD/BI solution build and maintenance according to DataOps practices

• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage

• Knowledge of Oracle data platforms

• Knowledge of DataOps practices and AI tools supporting software development (GitHub Copilot)

• Practical knowledge of process modeling with UML and BPMN

• Experience modeling systems using Azure components

• Preferred: Knowledge of SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya

• Preferred: Knowledge of Databricks

• Preferred: Knowledge of Oracle Exadata
