Description

Work on the modern data stack to enable data-driven decisions across the organization by integrating, modeling, and reporting data from multiple sources. You will work with Snowflake for data storage, dbt for modeling, and Amazon QuickSight for reporting, while collaborating closely with internal developers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analyses that support decision-making across business areas

• Build and maintain a modern data stack: Snowflake, dbt modeling, Amazon QuickSight reporting

• Integrate data into a central data warehouse using sources such as point-of-sale systems, sales data, movement data, web tracking, and e-commerce data along the customer journey

• Own reporting requirements management and support further development of a complex data model

• Collaborate with internal developers and external partners to help business teams make systematic, data-driven decisions

• Consult and deliver tailored reporting considering the business model and day-to-day workflows

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect

• Strong SQL skills, including complex SQL queries

• Experience with dbt and Git is desirable

• BI experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (Amazon QuickSight is used)

• Knowledge of data governance and understanding of security requirements and compliance (DSGVO)

• German communication skills (at least C1) and English; solution-oriented and team-focused working style

• Ability to discuss technical details with service providers and support colleagues during data analysis

• Structured working style, ability to prioritize, and experience with Jira or Asana
