Description

You will develop and integrate the Vehicle Interface layer connecting the Infotainment Platform with vehicle ECUs. The work covers vehicle communication, infotainment ECU integration, Car Business Logic across multiple vehicle domains, and instrument cluster services in a complex automotive environment. You will deliver designs and documentation, perform unit testing, and support integration and release in an Agile/SAFe setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain vehicle communication solutions using CAN/CAN-FD, SOME/IP, BAP, and ViWi
  • Implement and support Car Business Logic (Car_BL) across domains such as Climate, ADAS, Seats, Charging, Driving Profiles, Doors, and other vehicle functions
  • Develop and integrate Cluster Services for instrument cluster data provisioning
  • Design, implement, and maintain software components for the Infotainment ECU
  • Create requirements, software designs, UML diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis, software integration, and release activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment

Requirements

  • Strong experience in C/C++ development for embedded systems (C++17/20)
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for build/test automation
  • Knowledge of BAP protocol and vehicle function logic
  • ViWi services implementation experience
  • SOME/IP communication experience
  • CAN/CAN-FD signal and PDU communication experience
  • Unit test development and functional test preparation/execution
  • Ability to perform code review, software integration, and release management
  • Good understanding of infotainment system architecture
  • Strong Linux experience (mandatory)
  • Comfortable with Git workflows
  • QNX, Android, and AUTOSAR are advantageous
  • Experience with ASPICE SWE.1-SWE.6
  • Agile/SAFe methodology experience, Jira, and requirements traceability
  • Fluent English required; German is a plus
