Description

You will support embedded-software projects across the full software lifecycle, ensuring cybersecurity compliance and helping teams build secure concepts. The role includes threat/vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, plus driving improvements to development processes based on recognized cybersecurity standards. You will also serve as a key contact for project teams and enable knowledge transfer across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support embedded-software projects for construction, land, and municipal machines across the entire software lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with ISO 21434, IEC 62443, and EU regulations CRA 2024/2847 and RED 2014/53/EU
• Perform cybersecurity vulnerability and threat analyses and conduct TARA risk assessments
• Derive new concepts and requirements from attack analyses; initiate development-process improvements and adjustments per cybersecurity standards
• Act as a point of contact for project teams and enable broad cybersecurity knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or software engineering
• Solid experience in machine development or a comparable position
• Knowledge of ISO 21434 and IEC 62443
• Knowledge of CRA 2024/2847 and RED 2014/53/EU
• Ideally experience with vehicle networking, telemetry interfaces, and Ethernet/TCP/IP/CAN, or experience creating cybersecurity concepts using access and encryption technologies
• Hands-on mindset, teamwork, and structured work approach
• Very good German and English skills
