Description

You will lead architecture across ingestion, ontologies/graphs, a financial domain-specific language (DSL), and an LLM + tools + agents layer to produce AI-assisted investment advisory outputs. You’ll define enforceable contracts across system layers, implement robust verification and auditability, and ensure the architecture supports responsible-AI governance. You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and client stakeholders to meet regulatory and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the architecture from raw data ingestion to AI advisory outputs.
• Define and enforce contracts across data assets, ontology/graph structures, financial DSL, LLM gateway, tool gateway, agent layer, and user experience.
• Design governed systems with documented architectural decisions (ADR/RFC).
• Build and deliver hands-on solutions with incremental iteration while maintaining architectural consistency and quality.
• Ensure verification mechanisms across layers (formal validation where applicable, runtime checks, auditability).
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and client stakeholders.
• Maintain a defensible responsible-AI architecture (transparency, traceability, controlled capability exposure).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI Engineering or a related role.
• Strong hands-on Python development, including FastAPI, asyncio, pytest, type hints, and monorepo experience.
• Experience designing and implementing AI agent orchestration (LLM gateways, tool gateways, streaming via SSE/WebSocket, agent-to-platform contracts).
• Understanding of responsible AI governance (capability boundaries, approval workflows, disclosure requirements, audit traceability, regulatory control mapping).
• Production AWS experience.
• Rigorous testing practices: unit, integration, and UAT/BDD with ≥90% code coverage.
• Proficiency with modern AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, MCP servers, prompt engineering, CLI automation tools like GitLab/Jira).
• Observability via OpenTelemetry and Grafana/Phoenix plus structured logging.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).
