Description

Maintain and evolve a container platform based on Red Hat OpenShift, including patching, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident troubleshooting. Automate routine maintenance activities (Infrastructure as Code and operations automation) and support public cloud operations and integrations in GCP/Azure. Ensure incident handling and disaster recovery participation, maintain strong security, and keep architectural and operational documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, patch, monitor, optimize performance, and troubleshoot incidents on the Red Hat OpenShift container platform
  • Create and improve automation scripts and procedures for administrative tasks in container and virtual environments (IaC, routine automation)
  • Participate in operating and integrating public cloud solutions (GCP/Azure)
  • Diagnose and resolve outages, support disaster recovery procedures, and maintain high system security
  • Produce and update architectural documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards

Requirements

  • Experience in IT infrastructure operations and maintenance
  • Linux system administration experience
  • Several years of experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes for maintenance and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift (cluster management, RBAC, ingress/egress, networking, storage provisioning, ACS, ACM, Quay)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS family (RHEL/CentOS)
  • Networking knowledge relevant to container environments (DNS, BGP, load balancing, TLS/SSL, network segmentation)
  • Knowledge of automation principles and tools (Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ownership of shared goals
  • Proactive, flexible attitude in a changing business environment
  • Strong focus on customer experience (internal and external)
