Description

Work with the Managing Director, UK Head of Compliance, and cross-functional colleagues across countries to turn regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. Coordinate compliance activities across markets, monitor regulatory developments, and support audits, inspections, and follow-up actions. Gradually take broader ownership of the Group Compliance function as your expertise grows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance activities across operating markets (regulatory requirements, reporting, policies, governance documentation)

• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical actions for implementation

• Support regulatory interactions, audits, and inspections (prepare documentation, evidence, and follow-up)

• Coordinate legal and contractual matters with the UK Head of Compliance, external legal counsel, and internal stakeholders

• Support compliance risk and governance while expanding ownership of the compliance function

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in compliance or regulatory work (ideally financial services or another regulated industry)

• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and implement changes to policies, processes, or business activities

• Practical understanding of commercial contracts and legal/compliance risk

• Ability to provide clear, pragmatic guidance and work effectively with different stakeholders

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across teams and markets

• Advanced English (C1); Czech, Slovak, or other CEE language is an advantage
