Description

Design and build high-performance services behind trading systems, improving production software and gradually moving performance-critical components from C# to C++.

Work where performance matters—allocations, latency, throughput, memory layout, and cache behavior—only when it’s measured.

Integrate with exchanges (HTTP, WebSockets, FIX, binary protocols), investigate difficult production bugs, and run deployments on Linux with structured logging, metrics, and incident handling.

Requirements

• Strong C++ with demonstrable performance-sensitive work and understanding of memory layout, ownership, lifetimes, and compiler output

• Strong C#, especially performance-sensitive areas: GC behavior, allocation-free code, async/await, and experience with BenchmarkDotNet or dotTrace

• Concurrency expertise: multithreading, thread safety, memory ordering; ideally familiarity with lock-free approaches

• Ability to profile and tune performance with evidence using tools and benchmarking harnesses

• Confidence working with Linux and operating services end-to-end

• Ownership mindset: take a problem, decide, build, ship, and keep it running

• Diligence and discretion working close to trading logic and real capital

• Willingness for occasional on-call for exceptional live incidents
