This is an opportunity to engineer the core of global trading, working with ultra-low-latency architectures, real-time market data, and electronic trading systems where milliseconds matter. You will build FX (forex) electronic trading systems and collaborate directly with traders and product teams.

The role is fully remote for a developer in Poland and is intended as a long-term position. Only Polish citizens and legal residents with permission to work in Poland are eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust software solutions for FX trading systems using C# .NET.
  • Collaborate with teams to research and implement trading-system changes.
  • Create thorough test cases to ensure software stability and reliability.
  • Work with operations teams to build features and improve existing functionality.
  • Support production issues, including independent root-cause analysis and diagnosis.
  • Process business requirements with minimal guidance, develop implementation proposals, and deliver them independently or with a team.
  • Mentor junior developers.

Requirements

Must have

  • 7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience.
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts, including algorithms, complexity, multithreading, Java language capabilities, and standard libraries.
  • Good knowledge of data structures, .NET collections, commonly used data structures, and appropriate selection of structures.
  • Proven experience building backend services for front-office trading systems.
  • Deep understanding of front-office workflows and electronic trading platforms in any asset class.
  • Experience building or contributing to an electronic trading system in any asset class.
  • Expertise in multithreading, event-driven systems, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to break down complex workflows into maintainable, high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in high-stakes, trader-facing environments.
  • Knowledge required to build low-latency trading systems measured in microseconds.
  • Familiarity with the FIX protocol.
  • Ability to work with a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern business hours.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Broadway FX.
  • Familiarity with Java.
  • Computer science degree from a top Polish school.
