Description

Join the core engineering team to design and build scalable backend software for an AI-powered compliance platform. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle—design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance—while collaborating across teams. The role emphasizes large-scale system design, databases/data storage, security, and delivering solutions even when problems are ambiguous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance backend systems
• Develop and evolve backend architecture and data storage approaches
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Collaborate effectively with teams across sites
• Proactively propose solutions when software engineering challenges are unclear

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development or backend development (Java, Python, Go, or C++), or equivalent front-end experience
• Experience with backend architecture and database/data storage architectures
• Physical presence in Prague required (hybrid model supported)
