Description

Lead data and AI transformation projects from discovery and scoping through solution design, delivery, and go-live. Serve as the bridge between clients, the delivery team, and business stakeholders to keep commitments realistic and aligned with what gets built. Drive generative-AI-enabled migrations of legacy DWHs (e.g., SAP BW, Oracle, Teradata) into modern cloud-first data platforms, primarily Databricks, with experience also supporting BigQuery, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery and scoping, shape solutions, and steer delivery to go-live

• Coordinate between client, delivery team, and business to ensure alignment and delivery feasibility

• Lead modernization/migration efforts for cloud data platforms

• Support generative-AI-assisted migration tooling and pipeline conversion

Requirements

• Background in new business development, consulting, pre-sales, or client-facing delivery for data platforms, analytics, cloud, or tech transformations

• Solid working knowledge of Databricks

• Hands-on exposure to platform modernization or migration (legacy DWH migrations, lakehouse or cloud moves)

• Ability to communicate with business and technical people and convert client needs into build plans

• Track record preparing proposals, facilitating workshops, or handling challenging client discussions

• Comfort with SQL; basic Python is a plus

• Comfort optimizing large data pipelines

• Collaborative mindset and interest in learning and contributing

• SAP BW hands-on experience is an advantage
