Description

You will join a technical team developing two fully automated processing lines for sheet material as part of a new sustainable solution. The role centers on improving robotic and camera applications by creating modular ABB RAPID programs and program standards, optimizing motion and cycle times, and reviewing existing bin-picking and camera inspection/detection systems. You will also integrate robots with PLC systems, handle diagnostics, and support new solution implementation.

Responsibilities

• Program ABB industrial robots in RAPID
• Design new modular robotic programs
• Create programming standards to speed up introduction of new products
• Optimize trajectories, takt times, and process dependencies
• Review the current bin-picking system
• Review camera systems for quality control and part detection/pick-off
• Integrate robots and ensure communication with PLC systems
• Diagnose technical problems
• Collaborate on development and implementation of new solutions
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge within the team

Requirements

• Practical experience with ABB industrial robot programming in RAPID
• Good understanding of automated production lines and their diagnostics
• Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical challenges effectively
• Independence, reliability, and teamwork
• Knowledge of technical English
• Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
• Driver’s license category B
