Description

This is the first UX position for the team, where engineers previously handled UX themselves. You will build the company’s UX practice by defining methods and guidelines, teaching engineers to apply them on real client work, and running discovery with users. In the first year, the emphasis is on setup and introducing discovery activities; then the balance shifts toward contributing to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Decide how the team does UX: methods, guidelines, and project steps

• Teach engineers via workshops, working side by side, and feedback on real work

• Run discovery on client projects

• Get in front of users by establishing direct user contact (client by client)

• Build prototypes using AI coding tools

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in UX design

• Ability to set up UX practice where it did not exist before

• Led discovery personally: selected the methods, ran the sessions, talked to real users

• Confidence in front of customers

• Mentoring/enablement skills

• Business proficiency in Czech and English
