Description

You will manage and secure customers’ IT environments by implementing security measures and smaller infrastructure projects. The role includes work on Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 security, plus Active Directory and GPO review and updates. If you want to, you can also join incident response activities.

Responsibilities

  • Independently propose an appropriate approach, assess impacts and risks, implement solutions, verify results, and document everything

  • Realize security measures and smaller infrastructure projects

  • Deploy or adjust servers

  • Introduce security measures in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365

  • Review and adjust Active Directory and GPO

  • Troubleshoot issues escalated by customers

  • Securely deploy new information systems

  • Document performed work and maintain time records

  • Find opportunities to improve or automate technical procedures

  • Test and roll out new technologies and security controls

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity; at least 2 years in an MSP or MSSP

  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID

  • Experience with computer networks and their security

  • Ability to solve technical problems independently and know when to consult others

  • Ability to anticipate impacts and risks of technical changes

  • Ability to handle problems for the first time by researching, verifying, and applying findings

  • Initiative to simplify and automate recurring work

  • Ability to use AI for finding solutions and analysis, verify outputs, and safely work with confidential information

  • Ability to take technical delivery ownership from solution approach to result verification

  • Ability to communicate factually with customers

  • Genuine interest in IT and cybersecurity with a willingness to keep learning
