Description

You will help advance how cycling routes are filmed and processed for publication. The job blends hands-on video/film production with technical problem-solving and experimentation with camera setups and new technologies. You’ll produce footage and synchronize it with GPS data to create realistic, high-quality routes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute filming of cycling routes around the world
• Work with cameras, stabilization systems, rigs, and other film equipment
• Design and test different camera mounting solutions for cars, motorcycles, bikes, or other platforms
• Troubleshoot field issues including vibrations, stabilization, lighting, and correct camera positioning
• Experiment with new technologies and build custom solutions (e.g., 3D printing/prototyping)
• Process recorded material, synchronize it with GPS data, and prepare routes for publishing
• Collaborate with the Route team to improve realism and overall route quality

Requirements

• Experience with professional video, film, or TV production
• Knowledge of cameras and film/production equipment
• Ability to work with video editing and post-production
• Technical curiosity and comfort with disassembling, building, and testing
• Ability to handle technical challenges in the field
• Strong driving skills; motorcycle license is a major advantage
• Willingness to travel for filming
• Must be available in Vimperk at least 3× per week (at least in the first months for onboarding/training)
