Description

This role designs, develops, and maintains Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions to support regulatory compliance, risk management, control monitoring, and executive decision-making. You will analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and outliers, evaluate compliance with internal policies and regulations, and assess root causes. You will collaborate across risk evaluation and assurance, Internal Audit, Data Analytics, and Technology partners to turn data into actionable insights for risk oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting for risk-based monitoring and testing
  • Gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
  • Analyze data to identify trends/outliers and assess compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop data models and visualization standards; validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Connect Tableau to multiple data sources including SQL Server and cloud data warehouses/data lakes
  • Build automated and recurring reporting packages; produce documentation and user training materials
  • Support audits, regulatory examinations, and management inquiries related to compliance reporting and analytics
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of banking products and financial services industry source systems and compliance frameworks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or other related quantitative/IT field
  • Minimum 2 years of data analysis and reporting experience in a related analyst/auditor role
  • Strong SQL skills (complex joins, aggregations, window functions) and performance optimization
  • Ability to work with big data and navigate data warehouses
  • Experience with banking products and transactional/customer information data
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ethics, critical/strategic thinking, and problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building with internal stakeholders and management
