  • Focus: low-latency/real-time backend and modular system architecture
  • Work model: flexible hours; partially remote/home office possible

Description

Define and own the end-to-end software architecture for a processing station—from greenfield development through deployment. You will design modular runtime architecture, choose technologies for low-latency/real-time systems, and plan data models, serialization, transport/IPC, and messaging integration. You’ll also ensure scalability, maintainability, long-term product evolution, and architecture-level technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Define overall software architecture for systems and subsystems aligned with customer requirements and technical standards
  • Decompose required functionality into shared modules and runtime processes; define service boundaries, responsibilities, and lifecycle management
  • Select technologies for low-latency/real-time backend (C++, Rust, CUDA) and frontend (Qt, ReactJS)
  • Design data models, serialization (flatbuffers, JSON), transport layers (IPC), and integration with communication frameworks (e.g., ZeroMQ)
  • Prepare CPU/GPU acceleration strategy and optimal resource utilization
  • Evaluate target platforms (x86, x64, ARM) and choose solutions based on expected workload and SWaP constraints
  • Create and maintain architecture-level technical documentation (UML, system/subsystem specifications)
  • Ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term development of the product

Requirements

  • Technical university degree
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, system design, or software architecture
  • Deep knowledge of design principles, architectural styles, and integration patterns
  • Ability to reason about system architecture in UML and work in code (ideally C++/Python)
  • Ability to make architectural decisions and communicate them clearly to developers
  • Ability to provide expert guidance, mentoring, and structured development of the SW architecture domain
  • Ability to read and write technical English

Benefits

  • 25 days of vacation + time off between Christmas holidays
  • Flexible working hours with a fixed core time (9:00–14:30)
  • Home office option
