Description

Create software architectures for military systems using modeling tools. Coordinate independently with system architects and software requirements engineers, support architectural decisions with the development team, and ensure code quality. Produce UML-based diagrams (activity, data flow, and state) and provide detailed development-level technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop software architectures for military systems using modeling tools
• Coordinate software architecture alignment with system architects and software requirements engineers
• Support the development team with architectural principle/strategy decisions
• Ensure code quality requirements are met
• Create activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, and state diagrams; maintain detailed understanding of software units
• Provide technical documentation at the development level

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or equivalent
• Experience with Enterprise Architect and/or Rhapsody and with UML
• Experience producing technical documentation in Confluence
• Experience using Jira and Bitbucket
• Programming experience with C/C++/C# and the Qt framework
• CPSA certification is desirable
