Description

Lead and manage the IT department in a manufacturing environment, ensuring stable and secure operation of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, end-user devices, and enterprise systems. Own IT strategy and project delivery, lead and develop an internal IT team, coordinate external vendors, and drive continuous improvement in IT support, security, backups/recovery, and documentation. Translate production, logistics, sales, and controlling needs into concrete technology solutions spanning ERP, MES, reporting, cloud applications, and shop-floor data collection.

Role description

• Manage IT projects and implement new systems; optimize existing solutions
• Prepare and execute IT strategy; plan, track KPIs, and manage budgets and investments
• Ensure reliable IT operations for infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, and corporate systems
• Provide IT user support across the plant and administrative areas
• Set up and oversee IT security, backups, data recovery, and access administration
• Continuously improve IT processes, standards, and documentation
• Evaluate purchases of new applications and software; collaborate and technically assess hardware changes
• Coordinate collaboration between IT and other departments
• Collaborate with the parent company IT department
