Description

You will provide QA automation for data warehouse testing focused on Snowflake (and AWS), delivering results quickly by integrating into existing data testing processes. The work includes validating complex data flows, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with development teams to meet deadlines. The role also expects experience using AI tools to support testing.

Responsibilities

• Validate complex data flows and ensure data accuracy within Snowflake data warehouse environments

• Integrate quickly into existing data testing processes, architecture, and workflows

• Create and support automated data validation processes in Snowflake

• Perform data warehouse testing across Snowflake and AWS environments

• Collaborate with development teams to meet project deadlines

• Support testing activities related to dbt-based data transformations

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA automation and data warehouse testing with a focus on Snowflake and AWS

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, testing, and validating large datasets

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features including Time Travel, zero-copy cloning, and performance scaling

• Ability to quickly understand and integrate into existing data warehouse architecture and workflows

• Experience creating and supporting automated data validation processes in Snowflake

• Practical experience with dbt testing

• Experience working with AI tools
