Lead QA Automation & Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Lead who combines deep automation expertise with a Business Analyst mindset. In this role, you will own the end-to-end quality strategy across frontend, API, and backend integrations while actively shaping requirement analysis, business validation, and stakeholder alignment.

You will be working directly on a globally recognized enterprise platform used by sustainability professionals, project teams, and auditors worldwide to manage certifications, registrations, documentation, and compliance workflows.

Our expectations

• At least 7–10 years of hands-on QA experience with a strong background in test automation.
• API Testing: Deep experience testing REST and SOAP services.
• UI Automation: Hands-on expertise with modern UI automation tools and frameworks.
• Framework Design: Strong understanding of automation architecture and software design patterns.
• CI/CD Integration: Experience incorporating automated test suites into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Business Analysis: Proven experience in requirement analysis, functional validation, and writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Financial & Workflow Validation: Demonstrated ability to validate complex enterprise workflows, financial calculations, and transactional processes.
• Time Zone Flexibility: Availability to work standard European hours with overlap into US time zones (required availability until 18:00 CET, with a strong preference for candidates available up to 20:00 CET).
• English B2 level or higher, with clear verbal and written communication for direct collaboration with international stakeholders.

Key tasks

QA Automation Leadership

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy across API, UI, and end-to-end platform workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute comprehensive functional and regression test suites.
• Validate complex integrations between frontend applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Integrate automated quality gates into continuous integration pipelines to ensure seamless releases.

Business Analysis & Functional Validation

• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
• Translate business logic into clear test scenarios, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Validate end-to-end business workflows, including order processing, financial transactions, and system integrations.
• Proactively identify process gaps, functional risks, and system improvement opportunities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee deliverables match business expectations.
