Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the team of our client – an international company providing digital solutions and data services for the maritime, energy and industrial sectors.You will work on a complex platform built around microservices, event-driven communication, system integrations and large-scale data processing. The role focuses on test automation across microservices, integrations, APIs and asynchronous workflows.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining automated tests using C#/.NETBuilding and maintaining test frameworksTesting microservices, distributed systems and asynchronous workflowsDesigning and executing integration and end-to-end testsTesting event-driven communication and event flowsTesting APIs and asynchronous communication such as webhooks and WebSocketsWorking with SQL and NoSQL databasesInvestigating production issues and performing root cause analysisSupporting quality across the development lifecycleCollaborating with Developers, DevOps, Product Owners and other cross-functional team membersUsing AI tools to support testing, automation, analysis and everyday engineering workIdeal candidate profileStrong commercial experience in software testing and QASolid experience in test automation, preferably with C#/.NETExperience in building and maintaining test frameworksPractical experience with microservices and distributed systemsExperience with event-driven architecture and technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQExperience testing asynchronous communication and workflowsStrong experience with integration and end-to-end testingExperience with systems processing large volumes of dataPractical knowledge of Docker and KubernetesGood knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databasesExperience with root cause analysis and production issue investigationExperience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or KanbanGood command of EnglishNice to havePlaywright or SeleniumMongoDB or NocoDBGrafana, Prometheus or LokimTLS, IAM or SSOPerformance testing tools, e.g. k6OWASP ZAP or VeracodeReact.jsExperience with cloud environmentsPractical experience using AI tools in software development or QAConditionsB2B contract (long-term)100% remote workStart: ASAP2–4 business trips per year to client's office in Poland/NorwayBenefits: private medical care, sport card, life insuranceBudget: depending on the candidate's experience and skillsRecruitment stepsPhone call with RecruiterInterview with the client (may require 2 rounds)Feedback and decisionW KUBO naprawdę zależy nam na ludziach.
