Description

Senior OutSystems Engineer role focused on delivering scalable, maintainable low-code solutions using OutSystems best practices. You will collaborate with the team to design, develop, and test web applications in short automated cycles, incorporate end-user feedback, and ensure performance and adoption at scale. The role emphasizes strong quality, solution architecture/design understanding, and clear English communication within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solutions following OutSystems low-code development best practices, ensuring performance and user adoption
• Design and develop solutions with the team using processes such as TDD, BDD, and code reviews
• Produce and test code in short cycles with a high degree of automation
• Gather end-user feedback and adapt solutions
• Develop maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users
• Design and communicate high-level functional designs and solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or other STEM courses
• More than 2 years of OutSystems development experience and certifications
• More than 4 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in web-based languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Database programming with SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres
• Knowledge in database modeling
• Experience applying Agile methodologies
• Understanding of solution architecture and web application performance
• Good communication skills; fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Good customer orientation and interpersonal skills
• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
