OutSystems Tech Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead OutSystems to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering innovative digital solutions using the OutSystems platform. You will play a key role in leading development teams, defining technical architecture, ensuring best practices, and driving the successful delivery of scalable enterprise applications.

This position combines hands-on technical leadership with mentoring responsibilities, making it ideal for someone passionate about both technology and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications built on the OutSystems platform.
• Define technical architecture and ensure alignment with business and technology strategies.
• Guide and mentor developers, promoting best practices and high-quality development standards.
• Review code and ensure compliance with performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including estimation, planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience developing applications with OutSystems.
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior OutSystems Developer role.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with OutSystems Service Studio and LifeTime.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• OutSystems certifications (Associate, Professional, Expert, or Architecture Specializations).
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
