Description

Join as a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to build and run secure, highly available cloud and Kubernetes platforms. You will drive observability practices (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and SLOs), implement Infrastructure as Code, and deliver secure CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines. The role also includes supporting data/platform engineering with tools such as Kafka and Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Promote SRE best practices: monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, SLOs, toil reduction, and runbooks.

• Design and implement observability solutions using tools such as New Relic and PagerDuty (or equivalents).

• Administer highly available Kubernetes clusters (e.g., GKE, Kubespray) and cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.

• Manage cloud resources and data services such as CloudSQL and PubSub, with experience including AWS EMR.

• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform / Terragrunt.

• Build, secure, and optimize automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Concourse, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Support data and platform engineering technologies (Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop) and explore Kubernetes operators for migrations and CD automation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as SRE or DevOps.

• Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE and on-prem clusters) and cloud-native tooling.

• Proficiency with Terraform / Terragrunt and automation tools such as Ansible or Salt.

• Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Concourse).

• Experience with observability, APM, metrics, logging, and incident management (e.g., New Relic, PagerDuty, Prometheus/Grafana).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS) and data infrastructure tools (Kafka, Airflow).

• Excellent written and spoken English; strong collaboration and mentoring abilities.
