Description

As a Senior DataOps Engineer, you will drive automation of data management processes within a modern CI/CD environment. You will design and implement scalable data models and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines, while managing and optimizing data flows and storage for performance and reliability. You will also troubleshoot complex data and system issues and ensure high standards of data quality, completeness, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Automate data management processes in a CI/CD environment

• Design and implement scalable data models

• Orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines

• Manage and optimize data flows and data storage solutions

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency

• Troubleshoot complex data and system-related issues

• Ensure data quality, completeness, and integrity

• Create and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and operational procedures

• Support the development and implementation of data governance processes

• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and audit requirements

• Conduct data quality assessments and drive improvement initiatives

• Provide training, guidance, and best-practice support on data management and DataOps principles

Requirements

• Experience working in the data warehousing field

• Strong proficiency in SQL

• Knowledge of databases, data processing concepts, and general data engineering principles

• Experience with at least one ETL/ELT tool (preferably SAS DI Studio)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proficiency in English

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant IT specialization
