Senior DataOps Engineer for Netcompany Banking Services (f/m)

Description

As a Senior DataOps Engineer, you will drive the automation of data management processes within a modern CI/CD environment. You will design and implement scalable data models, orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines, and manage data flows and storage solutions to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot complex data and system-related issues.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, completeness, and integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and operational procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of data governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Conduct data quality assessments and drive improvement initiatives.
• Provide training, guidance, and best-practice support to team members on data management and DataOps principles.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience working in the data warehousing field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Knowledge of databases, data processing concepts, and general data engineering principles.
• Experience with at least one ETL/ELT tool, preferably SAS DI Studio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant IT specialization.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SAS or Teradata tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, Git, Erwin, or Power BI.
