Senior Data Engineer - Teradata

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Factory team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines within a banking environment. The role requires strong expertise in data processing, ETL workflows, and legacy data ecosystems, with a focus on reliability, performance, and agile collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Work with large-scale data environments using Teradata and Ab Initio.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.
• Manage and schedule workflows using Control-M.
• Contribute to documentation, architecture, and technical design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Data Factory.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise in SQL (Teradata).
• Experience with Teradata environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Experience with Control-M job scheduling.
• Solid knowledge of Unix environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices at a basic level.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, MEGA, and Zeenea.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Datastage.

Other Details

Full-time position with a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on-site. The role is situated within a dynamic banking environment.
