Description

Design, develop, and maintain systems supporting the insurance claims process in a modern, large-scale microservices environment. Build high-quality software using modern automation and AI tools. Work across microservices and monolithic components to deliver effective software for business operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop systems in microservices and monolith architectures supporting claims reporting and handling processes
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems
• Participate in system design and in implementing functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering effective IT solutions
• Ensure high software quality through development of automated tests and following engineering best practices
• Use AI tools actively in the software development process
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools
• Participate in Scrum events within a multidisciplinary Agile team
• Co-create standards for software development and the use of AI
• Collaborate daily with the team focused on knowledge sharing and delivering high-quality solutions

Requirements

• Very good Java knowledge (minimum 7 years of commercial experience)
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience creating unit and integration tests
• Ability to use AI tools supporting the software development process
