Description

Design end-to-end architecture solutions for mortgage loan origination and servicing. Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solution designs, integrating modern digital channels and microservices with existing banking systems across Nordic infrastructures. Provide architectural guidance to development teams and keep solution architecture documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture solutions for mortgage loan origination and servicing

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solution designs

• Design integrations between modern digital channels, microservices, and existing banking systems

• Analyse complex dependencies across local banking infrastructures in Nordic countries

• Cooperate with development teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers

• Support development teams by providing architectural guidance and resolving technical challenges

• Ensure alignment between solution architecture, business objectives, and enterprise standards

• Prepare and maintain solution architecture documentation in Confluence and Microsoft Word

• Participate in planning and delivery activities within a SAFe environment

• Proactively share knowledge, experience, and architectural best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Solution Architecture

• Strong expertise in systems integration and designing complex, distributed solutions

• Good understanding of microservices architecture

• Ability to combine holistic architectural thinking with detailed technical analysis

• Experience working in Agile environments, preferably using SAFe

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience cooperating with development teams and external suppliers

• Ability to create clear technical and architectural documentation

• Very good command of English (written and spoken)

• Strong delivery focus, ownership, and proactive approach

Nice to Have

• Understanding of micro-frontend or micro-application architecture

• General knowledge of Java

• Familiarity with Spring Boot

• Familiarity with Angular

• Previous experience in banking, mortgage lending, or other regulated financial environments

• Experience working with solutions deployed across multiple countries or markets
