Description

You will take the next step from execution to architecture and system responsibility. As a Senior Cloud Developer, you independently drive architecture and system decisions in your area—pragmatically, economically, and with high quality. You will design sustainable system logic that ensures integrity for complex business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and own cloud-native systems; manage complexity and create real business value
• Lead architecture decisions and develop long-term, maintainable system logic
• Use AI-native workflows to reduce manual routine work (e.g., LLM tools, AWS Q)
• Work with the Head of Engineering to grow into a strategic architecture advisor
• Deliver the simplest, most stable, and most cost-effective solution under clear process definitions

Requirements

• At least 4 years of software development experience, ideally in cloud environments
• Strong Go (Golang) skills and experience building complex applications
• Cloud-native mindset using AWS serverless and messaging (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS) and container approaches (Fargate/Docker)
• IaC experience with Serverless Framework or Pulumi
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines
• Active interest in AI tools and using them to accelerate learning
• Business-outcome focused approach
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
