• Role: IT System Administrator (Full-time, 40 hours/week)

Description

You will operate, maintain, and continuously improve an on-premises IT infrastructure. The role focuses on Windows Server and client administration, Active Directory user/group and permissions management, network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, WLAN), hardware/software installation and upkeep, and troubleshooting. You will also support backups and restore concepts and coordinate external IT service providers.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and further develop the classic on-premises IT infrastructure
• Administer Windows Server and client systems
• Manage users, groups, and permissions in Active Directory
• Support and develop the network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, WLAN)
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
• Perform error analysis and resolve incidents in 1st- and 2nd-level support
• Manage data backups and maintain backup/restore concepts
• Coordinate and oversee external IT service providers

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable qualification
• Practical experience with Windows Server and Windows client operating systems
• Networking experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
• Practical knowledge of Active Directory
• Structured working approach and ability to prioritize tasks
• Self-driven, responsible mindset with willingness to make decisions
• Confident presence and clear communication with users, departments, and external service providers
