Description

You will develop, extend, and optimize existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 solutions using C/AL. You will analyze business requirements from sales, purchasing, logistics, production, and finance, implement them in the NAV system, and take ownership of technical adjustments, reports, and integrations. You will also support updates, test phases, deployments, documentation, and help key users troubleshoot issues and performance problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 solutions using C/AL

• Analyze functional requirements from sales, purchasing, logistics, production, and finance and implement them cleanly in NAV

• Own changes including adjustments, extensions, reports, and interfaces/integrations to subsystems and external applications

• Support technical updates, testing phases, deployments, and ensure proper documentation of developments

• Support specialist departments and key users with technical questions, error analysis, and performance topics

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ideally NAV 2017) and solid knowledge of C/AL

• Understanding of ERP processes across multiple departments (purchasing, sales, warehousing, production, finance)

• Experience with SQL Server, database queries, debugging, and technical integrations

• Ideally first exposure to the Business Central development environment (AL) or willingness to develop further

• Structured, solution-oriented working style plus teamwork and strong communication skills

• Very good German skills (written and spoken); English is a plus
