Description

You will design and develop database structures and data logic (stored procedures, triggers, views) while maintaining a documented database model. You will analyze execution plans, optimize SQL statements, develop index strategies, and accelerate processes by adjusting business logic when needed. You will also implement SQL-script-based conversions from external systems, develop and monitor online services in Azure, and support Azure customer onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop database structures and database logic (Stored Procedures, Trigger, Views)

• Maintain and update the documented database model

• Analyze execution plans and optimize SQL statements

• Develop index strategies and adjust business logic to improve performance

• Plan and implement SQL-script-based data conversions from external systems

• Develop and monitor online services in Azure (and potentially other services)

• Support technical onboarding of new customers in the company’s Azure environment

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable training

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong database development experience with SQL (ideally Microsoft SQL Server)

• Analytical strength, structured working style, and good communication

• Independent work and strong sense of responsibility

• German C2 proficiency in speech and writing

• English B2 proficiency in speech and writing
