ABOUT THE ENTRY LEVEL ROLE

This entry-level opportunity provides meaningful work from day one, collaborating with experienced team members and building skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and development opportunities.

Job Summary: Support Textron Aviation Parts and Distribution (TAPD) customers (internal and external) by creating and maintaining master data records for all Textron aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily activities in support of business needs

  • Create and maintain materials in the ERP system according to standard work

  • Review engineering and manufacturing engineering information and align ERP settings accordingly

  • Ensure system integrity and data accuracy to deliver best-in-class customer service

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain frequent contact with engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, sales, customer service, new programs, planning, supply chain, pricing, and other aftermarket/production areas

  • May require release approval for part setup and maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Aviation, or related field

  • Or, in lieu of degree: minimum 4 years relevant aviation experience (e.g., material requirements planning, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, inventory control)

  • Working knowledge of SAP and knowledge of material master transactions (preferred)

  • Working knowledge of engineering, planning (MRP & Manufacture), and supply chain management principles

  • Ability to research engineering documents and industry standards accurately

  • Ability to read, evaluate, and comprehend data from multiple sources (engineering drawings, specs & standards, supplier data, engineering change orders, drawing change notices, change requests, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Power BI, and Teams

  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
