Description

Design and develop highly integrated RF and wireless systems for Spectacles hardware launches. Create schematics spanning RF components, high-speed digital systems, power supplies, and sensors; support PCB/flex/rigid-flex layout; run RF validation with test plans and produce validation reports. Debug baseband and RF hardware issues and document designs clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Design and/or develop integrated RF and wireless systems

  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, industrial design, and suppliers

  • Create RF-inclusive schematics including high-speed digital systems, power supplies, and sensors

  • Perform, supervise, or review PCB, flex, and rigid-flex layout

  • Develop test plans, perform RF validation, and generate validation reports

  • Debug hardware issues, including baseband and RF circuits

  • Design electrical and wireless prototypes for new product concepts

  • Author clear and comprehensive documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical engineering) or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience designing integrated RF/electrical circuits and systems

  • RF system analysis experience and component/chipset selection

  • Ability to develop and execute test plans to validate circuits, components, and electrical systems

  • Ability to travel up to 15% (domestic and international)

Compensation (US)

Base salary ranges vary by pay zone; the posting lists the ranges for Zones A–C. Starting pay is determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
