Description

Lead enterprise strategic engineering initiatives including the AI Security Test Harness, unified findings and thematic risk analysis, AI Security and Threat Assessment Automation, and secure-by-design JIT access management for endpoint security and privileged access governance. Partner with product, data science, platform, and security teams to define roadmaps and architecture, provide technical leadership through reviews, and drive scalable execution. Build and mentor advanced software engineers while using AI-assisted development responsibly to improve security effectiveness and operational resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Security Test Harness, unified findings/thematic risk analysis, AI Security and Threat Assessment Automation, and partner initiatives such as Mindgard.ai and Cisco Cyber Defense AI

• Lead enterprise Just-in-Time (JIT) access management solutions for endpoint security controls, privileged access governance, and secure-by-design

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, platform teams, and security experts to define roadmap and architecture

• Provide technical leadership in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions

• Stay current on AI/ML/GenAI and cybersecurity trends; introduce innovative approaches and tools

• Guide enterprise AI/ML platform adoption and implementations; champion custom-built solutions when needed

• Build, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers; foster innovation and collaboration

• Ensure engineering practices meet security, performance, and scalability standards

• Align engineering execution with business objectives; define and track KPIs and OKRs

• Serve as technical representative for the product during cross-team planning

• Identify and recommend resolutions for technology roadblocks across code/build/deployment and manage the software development cycle with security standards

• Use AI responsibly and ensure compliance with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards
