Description

Lead the development and delivery of software solutions powering a Tank Monitoring IoT platform, spanning cloud-based SaaS applications, mobile applications, platform services, and firmware deliverables. Provide technical and people leadership to build scalable, secure, reliable cloud-native distributed and event-driven systems with disciplined execution. Partner with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and leadership to deliver innovative, customer-valued solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end software delivery for SaaS, mobile, cloud services, and firmware deliverables
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams; foster ownership and continuous improvement
  • Drive execution against development plans, release schedules, and deployment timelines
  • Provide technical leadership for architecture reviews, solution design, technology selection, and key engineering decisions
  • Guide evolution of scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable cloud-native distributed, event-driven systems
  • Align with cross-functional partners including Product, Sales, Operations, and senior leadership
  • Champion Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, testing automation, and operational excellence
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards for quality, reliability, security, and data-driven continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred
  • 8+ years software engineering experience; 3+ years people management experience
  • Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale SaaS platforms using modern data architectures and analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure certifications preferred)
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and DevOps practices
  • Experience designing and operating event-driven architectures, real-time streaming platforms, and large-scale data processing systems
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing software with C# and .NET (full-stack experience preferred)
  • Understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases; ability to select and architect storage solutions
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage (preferred)
  • Proven ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant systems (multi-region, disaster recovery, 99.9%+ uptime SLAs)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including secure software development, secure-by-design principles, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management
  • Strong Agile delivery background across multiple teams and initiatives
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment skills
  • Ability and willingness to use AI tools; ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
  • Applied machine learning and ML-Ops expertise (preferred)

  • Salary range: $180,000–$225,000 USD (estimate; depends on experience, skills, qualifications, market/business considerations, and location)
