Description

This role leads all phases of system conversion projects, from requirements definition through execution, for customer and account conversions into bank systems and processes. You’ll develop and maintain complex programs, construct conversion reports and programs from specifications, and create test plans (including unit testing) to ensure outputs meet requirements. You also act as a technical expert who mentors associates and provides guidance to management and business units.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data files and formats to determine a conversion approach
• Build programs and reports using provided specifications
• Unit test programs to ensure output matches specifications
• Provide business support by resolving complex system issues and anticipating maintenance needs
• Develop technical solutions for unique system problems and ensure end-user functionality
• Lead major projects, delegate tasks, and ensure quality results
• Mentor and train associates; provide technical insight in meetings and special projects
• Advise on business and technology strategy aligned with long-term conversion needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
• OR High school diploma or GED plus 12 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
