Description

You will be the main point of contact for production-near IT systems outside SAP/ERP, ensuring smooth operations and harmonization in the production environment. You will further develop and support technical IT production solutions, drive IT-assisted production process improvements, and advance interfaces between production systems and ERP. The role also includes system documentation, rollouts with user training, and international technical support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for production-near IT systems outside SAP/ERP (e.g., MES, BDE messages, CAD programs, tool management, simulation programs)
• Support and technically develop IT production solutions; advise production leaders; perform error analysis and maintain existing systems
• Design and develop IT-supported production processes; introduce new technologies and improve interfaces between production systems and ERP
• Create and maintain system administration documentation and process descriptions for transparency and traceability
• Support rollouts and conduct training for end users
• Provide international technical support for production-specific IT problems

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification; or vocational training with relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in a production environment
• In-depth knowledge of production systems, automation technology, and interfaces
• Experience with IT infrastructure and application areas
• Strong communication skills
• Team-oriented, analytical, structured working style
• Solution-focused, hands-on team player mentality
• Good German and English communication skills (written and spoken)
