Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Manufacturing & Supply Chain Expert to enhance IT solutions within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will act as a critical point of contact between business and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. The role requires solid functional and technical understanding, particularly in manufacturing and pharmaceutical environments, with an emphasis on high autonomy.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact between business and IT teams
• Translate and challenge business needs into IT requirements
• Interface with multiple European sites, including France, Italy, Germany, the UK, and Hungary
• Align stakeholders across diverse geographies
• Work autonomously with minimal oversight

Key Requirements

• Senior consultant experience with strong functional and technical understanding
• Proven project and stakeholder management skills
• Significant exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or pharmaceutical environments
• Freelance or contractor experience
• Familiarity with SAP in manufacturing or plant environments
• Ability to translate business needs to IT effectively
• High autonomy and capacity for remote work

Nice to Have

• Additional languages, such as French or German

Other Details

This is a freelance or contractual role with a preference for candidates based in Budapest, Hungary, or nearby, allowing for a hybrid working model. The role offers flexibility for fully remote work for consultants based in other European countries.
