Description

As part of the administrator team, you’ll be responsible for the stable operation and ongoing development of the IT infrastructure—from Linux and Windows systems to cloud services. You will manage and evolve Debian systems, operate the Proxmox VE virtualization environment, and own patch and configuration management using SaltStack. You’ll also integrate new software under Linux and further develop Windows Server domain structure and the Office 365 environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve Debian systems and the Proxmox VE virtualization environment
• Own patch and configuration management with SaltStack; help select and introduce the next solution
• Introduce new software on Linux, integrate it into the existing system landscape, and support sustainable operations
• Maintain and develop the Windows Server landscape, domain structure, and Office 365 environment
• Participate in cross-functional IT projects and contribute to architecture decisions and technical standards
• Evaluate new technologies and solution approaches to keep the system landscape stable, maintainable, and future-ready

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in administration and further development of complex IT infrastructure
• Training as Fachinformatiker for System Integration, a degree in an IT field, or comparable qualification
• Solid Linux administration knowledge, ideally Debian, and knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Good virtualization knowledge, ideally practical experience with Proxmox VE
• Experience with configuration, patching, or automation solutions; SaltStack experience preferred
• Good understanding of networking technologies and modern hybrid IT infrastructure
• Independent, structured, and result-oriented working style with high ownership
• Openness to new technologies and interest in continuous professional development
• Secure German and English skills (written and spoken)
