Description

Lead AI and automation initiatives in an in-house IT role: advise business departments, identify high-impact use cases, and design AI-based solutions and prototypes. Manage AI and automation platforms and connected systems, especially in a Microsoft environment, and train users to adopt these solutions. Ensure responsible AI through AI governance, standards, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Advise business departments on AI use cases, technical solution approaches, benefits, and limitations; support strategic development of AI adoption across the company
• Identify and evaluate AI and automation use cases to optimize business processes
• Design AI-based solutions, AI agents, and automations; develop prototypes and proofs of concept
• Administer and support AI and automation platforms and connected systems, especially in the Microsoft environment
• Train, instruct, and support users in German and English for AI and automation solutions
• Define, further develop, and implement AI governance requirements, standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Support IT infrastructure, IT service desk, IT business services, and other IT areas

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Multi-year IT experience; ideally exposure to digitalization & AI during studies or training
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure, including interfaces, APIs, data integration, workflows, and low-code/no-code platforms
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, compliance, governance, and responsible AI use
• Structured, solution-oriented work approach and ability to communicate complex topics clearly
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Collaborative, customer-oriented personality for internal and external communication
