Description

You support data protection management by maintaining the processing activities directory in the privacy management system (OneTrust), reviewing data processing agreements (AVV), and handling data subject requests. You advise business units on appropriate privacy measures, evaluate new IT and business processes from a data protection perspective, and deliver staff training and awareness activities. You also assist with external privacy audits and conduct internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the register of processing activities in OneTrust
• Review data processing agreements (AVV) and process data subject requests
• Support assessment of new IT developments and business processes from a privacy perspective
• Advise departments and derive suitable data protection measures
• Conduct employee trainings and awareness/sensitization activities
• Support external privacy audits and run internal audits independently
• Shape and further develop the internal data protection organization

Requirements

• Initial professional experience in data protection, data security, and/or IT security practice
• Degree or relevant vocational training in a data protection/privacy-related field with practical experience
• Confidence in implementing data protection measures
• Solid understanding of IT processes
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Confident presence and enthusiasm for legal topics
• Strong analytical skills, loyalty, and integrity
• German at native/professional level; English skills are an advantage
